My plan for the future, when I finish the Graduate program, is to work as a manager in the water resources field helping to develop ways to keep our resources clean and available for multiple uses. I am currently working on a project with Dr. John Selker using fiber optic cables in a stream channel to find temperature changes every meter down the cable in order to find where ground water flows are coming into the system and see how this data compares with other measurement methods. I completed my undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in June 2004. My undergraduate degrees were Forestry and Natural Resource Management, and Environmental Management and Protection with a concentration in Watershed Management and Hydrology. I was born and raised in the Sierra Nevada, close to Placerville, CA.
